2014-03-10:
Well, my plan to put an end to the laziness has been thrwarted by the crippling, endless, merciless Chicago winter which, despite my
describing it as "endless" quite recently, seems to have finally come to an end or at least to a less crippling, more merciful state. Anyway,
today, Zoe and I went to the playground for the first time this year. Zoe had a fine time running, sliding and swinging and she didn't even
bite it despite the fact that there's still and inch and half of ice on the ground covered by a quarter inch of water. Spring! Ish! Meanwhile,
in what could be a post from anytime in the last four years, Niklas had another tooth pulled. I think he's got six, now.

So, it was quite the eventful week. Niklas has baseball practice twice a week these days in preparation for his third season playing ball
at Oz Park. I moved Zoe's class to correspond with one of them, which works out pretty well, though Zoe is notably less focused in the
afternoon than she is in the morning. For the other one, we pack Zoe a picnic dinner which she thinks is the absolute best despite the
fact that it's generally a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and some fruit.
We also had what, if there's any mercy at all in this universe, will be the last snowfall of the year. Zoe and I took advantage and
built this guy:
There are a couple of other new pictures up here.

This week was pretty laid back. The kids had baseball, as is per usual. Zoe continues to show an aptitude for playing baseball in the morning
which is somewhat of a problem given that she plays in the evening, currently. Zoe's focus come five o'clock is much like mine was when
I was going to the office, everyday, so I can't really fault her there.
