2011-02-08: So, Zoe has been quite the active little person of late. Forward is still a gear that she does not have, but she has toured the house pretty thoroughly using reverse. As part of her efforts to teach Andrya and I that she is not to be trusted even slightly, she has tried to eat the trash can, crawl under her crib (a shocking success, that) and thrown some of my shoes about.

Zoe still doesn't have any teeth, but that doesn't stop her from chomping on anything she can get a hold of. She really seems to enjoy eating strings such as those on hoodies. All of my hoodies are now covered in baby spit.

2011-02-14 (or about a year later): Niklas had his school Valentine's Day party sometime around here. He dressed up super nice in vest (a classy one, not a Baldwin-esque sweater debacle), white shirt and his good jeans. Then it snowed and he wore his snow boots and was too excited upon entering the party to remove said snow boots which added a touch of eccentricity to his look. They also had a hundred day party at school in February. Niklas took in 100 hockey cards to celebrate. He doesn't have one hundred Penguin cards, so we had to take several that featured "teams that are boo."
